Modulation of the zebrafish (Danio rerio) larval microbiota by potential probiotic yeasts

We evaluate the effect of probiotic yeasts in the composition of gut microbiota in an infection model of zebrafish (Danio rerio) larvae with Vibrio anguillarum. In addition we will determine if yeasts can reduce inflammatory response exerted analyzing the neutrophil migration to the intestine region. To our knowledge, this is the first study describing the effect of this pathogenon the gut microbiota composition.
