In order to selectively culture Desulfovibrio, we devised 5 initial selective media with nutrient components that could enrich Desulfovibrio. We inoculated 4 faecal samples into each medium. After an anaerobic cultivation and the sequencing analysis, we analyzed the relative abundances of Desulfovibrio in the cultured communities.
