Genome-wide comparative analysis of CYP53 family in fungi.

Twenty-three species from ascomycota and 28 species from basidiomycota were used in this study. Identification of CYP53 members in fungal species was carried out as described in the “Materials and methods” section. If no CYP53 member was found in the species, the space was left blank. The abbreviation NS indicates a new subfamily.
