This dataset provides single-cell RNA profiles of the developing human brain. Samples were collected from fresh prenatal human brain tissue at gestational weeks (GW) 13, 15, and 19. For GW15 and GW19, cortical tissues were microdissected into the germinal zone (GZ) and cortical plate (CP) regions. At the earlier developmental stage (GW13), the entire frontal telencephalon, including the ganglionic eminence, was profiled. Single-cell gene expression libraries were prepared using the 10x Genomics Chromium Single Cell Gene Expression Flex Kit. Overall design: Samples were dissociated using the Papain Dissociation System, fixed with the Chromium Next GEM Single Cell Fixed RNA Sample Preparation Kit (10x Genomics). Single-cell gene expression libraries were prepared with the 10x Genomics Chromium Single Cell Gene Expression Flex Kit (PN-1000414) following the manufacturer's protocol (CG000527 Rev E).
