Correlation with the software Halla between the immune response and microbiota composition in chicken

Correlations between gut microbial species, assessed by 16S metabarcoding, and significantly differentially expressed immune gene were investigated using HAllA (Rahnavard et al. 2017). HAllA is a tool allowing to search for significant relationships among high-dimemsionality, heterogeneous datasets using a hierarchical false discovery correction procedure. A false discovery rate of 0.01 using Benjamini–Hochberg–Yekutieli (BHY) correction was used to screen for candidate correlations.
