Please see Chapters 4 and 20 for methods for assigning paternities of prairie dog juveniles. Weanling = juvenile that emerged from natal nursery-burrow. I considered data from the same male in different years to be independent. Frequencies are all correct for weanlings of all numbers These data used for Fig 13.7 in Hoogland 2026. This file ready for longterm storage on 25 Feb 2025. These data are from Redondo Meadow Colony (RMC) of Valles Caldera National Preserve (VCNP) and Visitor Center Colony of VCNP--because these are the only GPD colonies for which I have information on paternities from microsatellites via Steve Keller and Regina Trott No data from GPD colony at Petrified Forest National Park (PEFO) --because no info on paternities from microsatellites at that colony. For this file, I have ignored males that who were never observed to copulate as a yearlaing or >=2 year old These data checked TWO TIMES.
