As the Earth’s climate continues to warm, stream flow and the seasonality of low flow drought are predicted to change in the future. To understand European hydrology and overcome the future extremities. This is the first research that's attempted to reconstruct the past 500 years of runoff in multiple European catchments. We explored hydrologic and data driven models to identify drought events and confirmed it with written records.
