This dataset is spatial distribution data of forest vegetation type remote sensing image classification and boundary demarcation in Tianjin from 2013 to 2017. It is derived from the China Forest Vegetation Survey Project of the Research Institute of Forest Resources Information Sciences, Chinese Academy of Forestry. The project was developed based on multiple materials including partial historical vegetation distribution maps, forest distribution maps, 2012 TM data, 1990s TM data and field plot survey data, and was processed strictly in accordance with relevant regulations specified in *Specification for Forest Vegetation Classification, Survey and Mapping* (2019). The dataset is vector data, including attribute fields such as forest order subgroup, forest order, forest series group and other similar attribute fields. The scale of this dataset is 1:100,000. This dataset provides data support and services for forest resource inventory, planning and design and other related applications.
