资源简介:
Overview This repository contains the data and source code used to generate the results and figures for the manuscript. All data utilized in this study are derived from publicly available datasets. The code provided includes the processing algorithms and visualization scripts, utilizing established methodologies.Repository Structure The repository is organized into two main directories alongside several individually uploaded large data files:dataset: Contains raw, intermediate, and result data files of relatively small size used throughout the study.code: Contains all scripts used for data processing, analysis, and figure generation.Individual large files: The large raw, intermediate, and result data files have been uploaded directly to the repository page as individual files.Code Details: The scripts are written in Python, IDL, and Fortran. Please note that the scripts are not strictly categorized by "Main Text" or "Supplementary" figures; instead, they were organized based on computational convenience and programming language. Both main and supplementary figures can be found across these files:TWP_AIS.ipynb & TWP_AIS2.ipynb (Python): Contain data processing and plotting routines.ice_mass_data_process.pro (IDL): Contains data processing and plotting routines.budget.eddy.fast.f (Fortran): A specific algorithm used to calculate the vorticity tendency term contributed by synoptic eddies. How to Map Figures to Code and Data To reproduce a specific figure from the manuscript, you can cross-reference the figure number with the scripts and datasets using the following workflow:Search for the Figure Number: Open the Python (.ipynb) or IDL (.pro) scripts and search for the specific figure label (e.g., "Figure1a").Identify Required Data: Within that specific code block, you will find variables defining the file paths for the data required to generate that plot. For example: file_ice = "E:\paper\Ice_mass\data\Ice_mass_200204_202505_monthly.nc"Locate Data: You can then find the corresponding data files either within the "dataset" folder or among the individual large files uploaded directly to this repository.Note: The file paths hardcoded in the scripts reflect the local environment where the research was originally conducted. After downloading the files, please update these directory paths in the scripts to point to your local "dataset" folder and the downloaded individual large files.Contact Information For any further questions regarding the code, data, or methodologies used in this study, please contact the corresponding author: Qinghua Ding (Email: qinghua@ucsb.edu)
