In response to the Department of the Interior Secretarial Order 3404 this is the list of U.S. Board on Geographic Names approved official Sq_ replacement names. On November 19, 2021, Order 3404 declared "squaw" a derogatory term and implemented a procedure to remove the term from federal usage.
