Esthonyx is an extinct genus of tillodont, a group that left no modern descendants. These animals ranged in size, but could reach the size of a bear. They ate roots and tubers and lived mainly in warm temperate to subtropical habitats. These are some upper teeth of the animal (left P3-M3).
