Raw multibeam sonar data collected at West Mata volcano and the NE Lau spreading center during Thompson cruise TN234 (2009, investigators Joe Resing, Robert Embley, Julie Huber)

These data files were collected with a Kongsberg Simrad EM300 shipboard multibeam sonar system. They are in MBSystem format and were generated as part of a project called A Submarine Eruption on the North East Lau Spreading Center, a RAPID Response Effort. Funding was provided by NSF grants OCE09-29411, OCE09-29881, OCE09-30025, and OCE09-34660.
