Municipal food production (cereals and livestock) in South Africa, decadal monthly average 2010 to 2019

The average monthly food production per municipality in South Africa, based on modelled, gridded data with a monthly timestep from 2010-2019. The average of the monthly data is taken giving a ten-year monthly mean. The food resources taken into account are cereal production (wheat and maize) and livestock production (poultry, cattle and sheep). This dataset was created as part of a research project on spatial inequality in Water-Energy-Food (WEF) security in South Africa, the implications on public health and the impacts of climate change.
