The ~10k jokes in the jokes file started out as as a file of jokes from reddit and I manually categorized a couple thousand of them.
The open question and conversational instructions attempt to integrate jokes into databricks dolly 15k instruction open_qa replies, sometimes slightly modified.
The news headlines and news article summary joke puchlines were created by an expert punchline writer, who has given permission for their non exclusive use for this purpose.
