Data and source code for "Turbulence suppresses nitrogen recycling and enhances denitrification in the Eastern Tropical South Pacific oxygen minimum zone"

This repository contains MATLAB scripts and processed data used to reproduce the analyses and figures in the accompanying manuscript. The files are organized into three archives: • matlab_data.zip: Processed model output in MATLAB (.mat) format required to reproduce the analyses. • matlab_scripts.zip: MATLAB (.m) scripts used for the analyses and figure generation. • vali_scripts_and_data.zip: MATLAB scripts, MATLAB data files, and Excel spreadsheets used to compare simulated nitrogen-cycle rates with published observations. The observational compilation includes associated oxygen measurements and source-study metadata. Version 2 updates the analysis scripts and processed data for the revised manuscript and adds the observational rate compilation and associated validation scripts. Original observational studies are cited in the manuscript’s Supporting Information.
