Maternal Asthma During Pregnancy Imprints Fetal Lung Group 2 Innate Lymphoid Cells [snRNA-Seq]

We investigated the effects on the lungs during fetal in the offspring of asthmatic mothers. Lung ILC2 of offspring of asthmatic mothers altered phenotypically during fetal life. Fetal lungs were harvested on gestation day 18 from OVA-induced athsmatic mother or PBS-treated control mother. Fetal lungs (E18-OVA, n = 8; E18-PBS, n = 9) were pooled per sample. Fetal lungs cells were prepared by single-cell suspension protocol of fetal lungs.
