Project containing two poplar species : Populus nigra and Populus tremula x alba Epigenomics

This project presents bisulfite capture sequence data from the organism Populus. Genotypes examined include ALL-019, AST-005, DRA-038, KUH-036, PG-031, SN-020 for the Populus nigra group as well as the control and EpiRIL transgenic lines RNAi-ddm1, RNAi-dml, and OX-dml for Populus tremula x alba (clone INRA 717-1B4). Each individual was subjected to varying drought-rewatering or control conditions, categorized as control (C), moderate (M), or severe (S). These drought conditions were applied on two distinct time scales, a period of 4 weeks (T+4) and another of 6 weeks (T+6). As part of a study focusing on the epigenetic memory of Populus nigra, four specific genotypes were rigorously chosen to participate in a recurrent stress experiment. These Four P. nigra genotypes, namely ALL-019, AST-005, DRA-038 and PG-031, will be were also subjected to two distinct cycles of drought -rewatering stress, with a year interval between each cycle.
