Penicillium oxalicum strain:F2DHU Genome sequencing. Penicillium oxalicum strain:F2DHU

This microbial strain was isolated from soil samples collected at Donghua University and screened for its potential in rice straw pretreatment. The strain was evaluated for its ability to degrade lignocellulosic biomass through enzymatic and microbial processes, with a focus on enhancing lignin degradation and improving biomass accessibility for downstream applications. Whole-genome sequencing was performed to characterize its genetic potential for lignocellulose degradation. This strain holds promise for biotechnological applications in agricultural waste valorization, biofuel production, and sustainable bioprocessing.
