To explore the critical roles of miRNAs playing in the pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma, the Agilent microarray was used to the profiling of miRNA expression in 7 pairs of HCC and matched adjacent tumor-free tissues. Overall design: In total, seven pairs of HCC and matched adjacent tumor-free tissues were collected during the surgery from HCC patients admitted to Zhongshan Hospital of Fudan University between 2008 and 2009.
