Dataset for article: Water droplet erosion response of 316L steel manufactured conventionally and additively using selective laser melting
收藏资源简介:
The dataset contains original data for the research paper titled "Water droplet erosion response of 316L steel manufactured conventionally and additively using selective laser melting". The article compares the erosion resistance of samples prepared by selective laser melting (SLM). Samples were subjected to water droplet erosion in two different orientations: BD (building direction), TD (transversal direction). Samples were prepared in three states: AB (As Built), SR (Stress Relieved), and SA (Solution Annealed). Samples prepared by selective laser melting were then compared to a conventionally prepared hot-rolled sample. The dataset contains a folder _Figures, which has all the figure compositions. The readme contains a description of the source data for each presented composition. The dataset contains original SEM micrographs used for the construction of figure compositions within the article. The dataset contains individual results of surface roughness profile measurement described in the article in the form of Height maps. The measured values of Depth and Volume are supplemented in the folder _Depth_Volume. The dataset contains as measured results of EBSD analysis in a native .h5oina file format. Figures exported from EBSD analysis are in a supplementary subfolder. The TEM micrographs for characterization of the material before water droplet exposure are also included. The details of measurements as well as discussion of results are in a preprint DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.15606981
