Genetic study of Northern wild rice (Zizania palustris) using GBS (pilot)

This is a pilot study to determine the appropriateness of using genotyping by sequencing (GBS) to assess the genetic diversity of Zizania palustris. This project features GBS data from 7 Z. palustris samples including 3 samples from natural stands, 3 breeding lines, and 1 cultivar. We also included an accession of the perennial species Z. latifolia, an Asian relative of Z. palustris. We used single-end 150bp Illumina (Nextseq 550) sequencing on these 8 samples to generate these FASTQ files.
