DoOP is a database of eukaryotic promoter sequences (upstream regions), aiming to facilitate the recognition of regulatory sites conserved between species. Based on the Arabidopsis thaliana and Homo sapiens genome annotation, the developers collected the orthologous promoter sequences from Viridiplantae and Chordata species.
