Rangpur-Bangladesh Hotspot-Coldspot Characterization Study

This study will provide evidence about the benefits to farmers (as the main beneficiaries), within diverse farming systems, of adopting improved carp seeds on poverty reduction, food and nutrition security, and environment. The study will also provide: 1) recommendations for targeted interventions to support adoption of improved carp seeds and farming systems; 2) insights and evidence about demand for improved seed and expected market penetration; 3) potential social, economic, and environmental impacts associated with adoption of improved carp strains and systems.
