资源简介:
Peste des petits ruminants virus (PPRV) is known to replicate in a wide variety of ruminants causing very species specific clinical symptoms. Small ruminants (goats and sheep) are susceptible while domesticated cattle and buffalo are considered as dead-end hosts and do not display clinical symptoms. Understanding the contribution of host factors to viral pathogenesis and differential disease susceptibility could help in developing better diagnostics and control measures. To achieve this, we collected blood (both from goat and cattle) were collected from these sero-negative animals, separated the PBMC, infected with the PPRV strain IND/TN/VM/2014/02 at 1 MOI for 24 hrs, extracted the RNA and generated transcriptome data by ribosomal depletion. The RNAseq data was analyzed to understand the differential host responses to PPRV
