资源简介:
This dataset was generated as part of a PhD thesis aligned with the MERP project, entitled: The role of intertidal kelp in coastal ecosystem functioning. The dataset consists of temperature/light sensor data from Hobo Loggers attached on four low rocky intertidal shores in County Donegal, Ireland, and a large amount of data pertaining to abundance, distribution, production/detrital production, dissolved organic matter production, epiphyte load, grazing, wrack biomass, chemical and nutritional content, polyphenol content, degradation rates, detrital communities, secondary production, consumption rates and respiration rates of current and future intertidal kelp assemblages and their associated communities. All data were collected from the Atlantic coast of Ireland in County Donegal. Data were collected monthly for 2.5 years.
