Global Patterns of Post-Drought Recovery Times in Lakes and Reservoirs

The folder provides information on how long lakes and reservoirs take to return to normal storage conditions following the end of a meteorological drought. It contain the six-month basin-averaged Standardized Precipitation–Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI), water storage, normalized water storage, and recovery time for individual drought events across 6,163 reservoirs and 65,282 lakes worldwide.
