Effects of norfloxacin on Schizosaccharomyces pombe genome

we apply mutation accumulation experiments, repeatedly bottlenecking dozens of cell lines by single colony transfers for thousands of generations so that drift dominates selection and most mutations even largely deleterious ones would be accumulated, on Schizosaccharomyces pombe ATCC16979 wild type with different norfloxacin treatments, whole genome sequencing was combined to evaluate the effect of norfloxacin residues on the mutation rates of eukaryotic genome.
