Early growth is a key determinant of meat production efficiency and genetic improvement potential in goats, yet the molecular mechanisms underlying individual growth variation remain poorly understood. Here, we investigated 123 Hechuan white goats using an integrative multi-omics approach that combined whole-genome sequencing (WGS), metabolomics, and 16S rRNA microbiome profiling to elucidate the regulatory basis of early growth traits.
