The Moral Dilemma Responses Dataset contains 17,290 natural language responses to moral dilemmas from the game princi/pal, a Tamagotchi-like virtual pet game where players guide the pet through ethical decisions. The dataset includes scenarios ranging from Should I pick up trash? to Should you lie in court to defend a friend?. The dataset is filtered from over 30K responses where resolved=True and the length is more than 10 characters. The structure of the dataset includes the moral scenario, the players natural language advice, and the scenario identifier. The output also includes six dimensions of statistics based on the Moral Foundations Theory and a description of the pets personality.
