This dataset was collected during expedition PS101 of research vessel POLARSTERN to the Arctic Ocean in 2016. It includes amplicon raw sequence reads (V3V4 region 16S rRNA gene survey), metagenomes and metatranscriptomes of deep-sea sponge-associated and seawater microbes.
