The Antelope was built as a steamer and converted to a schooner barge in 1888. It was under tow of the Hiram Sibley enroute to Ashland WI when it sprang a leak and sank off Michigan Island in 320 ft of water. It was found in 2016 by Jerry Eliason and Ken Merryman.
