The goal of the study is pinpoint changes in the intestinal microbiota after Roux-gastric bypass surgery by 16S rRNA genesequencing. Mucus and lumen samples of the ileum, cecum and colon from Roux-Y-Gastric bypass surgery rat model and sham rat model were sampled seperately.
