In this experiment, 20 quadrats of equal size were used to sample the Danby grassland region of York University. In each quadrat the visible plant species were recorded. The abundance of each species was recorded per quadrat, as well as the species richness and percent coverage. The plant species which were found included: Milkweed, Goldenrod, Purple Aster, Cow's vatch, Poa, and Leaftree.
