A variation of the MODIS standard evapotranspiration algorithm was used to calculate the daily 0.05 degree global terrestrial evapotranspiration. The input data includes: the 0.05 degree Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer Land products: land surface temperature, albedo, NDVI, reflectance and land cover, and hourly downwards shortwave radiation from CERES with 1 degree.
