UK Grassroots Venue Directory

2,635 active UK grassroots music venues across 90 cities. Structured data: venue name, city, area, postcode, latitude/longitude, genres booked, days with regular live music, website and verification status. Equipment provision and capacity are published as aggregates, not per venue. PA system, full backline and in-house sound engineer rates appear UK-wide and per city in the stats and qa files. No personal contact data is published: phone numbers and email addresses are deliberately excluded. Three data files: venues.csv — 2,635 venues, 17 fields stats.csv — 101 aggregate metrics and city rankings qa.csv — 158 question-answer pairs for domain question-answering A GeoJSON FeatureCollection of the 2,621 geocoded venues, for QGIS, Mapbox or Kepler.gl, is available in the HuggingFace and Kaggle editions linked below.
