This dataset contains paired measurements from plateau zokor foraging-tunnel and adjacent non-tunnel soils in alpine meadows on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau (three sites; Aug 2024). It includes plant biomass (AGB, BGB), soil physical/chemical properties (SBD, SWC, pH), nutrient pools and availability (SOC, TC, TN, TP, AP, NH₄⁺–N, NO₃⁻–N), and microbial biomass C, N, P (SMBC, SMBN, SMBP) with C:N:P ratios. It also provides 16S rRNA (V4) and fungal ITS1 sequencing outputs (raw reads/ASVs, taxonomy).
