Topics: Judgement on general as well personal economic situation as
well as assessment of further development in a year; interest in
politics; estimated influence of voters on politics; greatest political
problems; most important social goals (scale); personal change in party
voted for; behavior at the polls in the last Federal Parliament
election 1987; satisfaction with party voted for; party preference
(first and second votes, ballot procedure); attitude to the Republicans
in Federal Parliament and acceptance of the Republicans; attitude to
NATO and a neutral Europe; national pride; satisfaction with democracy;
self-assessment and classification of the federal parties on a
left-right continuum; party inclination; judgement on striving for
justice; perceived discrimination in one´s own social position and
expected future changes; attitude to admission of emigrants from the
GDR, ethnic Germans from East Bloc nations and guest workers as well as
persons seeking asylum; detailed demographic information on most
