Earthquake dataset used for seismic attenuation tomography in the Montello area (eastern Southern Alps, northern Italy)

Waveforms in SAC format of 637 earthquakes located in the Montello area (eastern Southern Alps, northern Italy) by the Collalto seismic network (10.7914/SN/EV; Priolo et al., 2015), integrated with other local seismic stations belonging to the Italian National Seismic Network (10.13127/sd/x0fxnh7qfy), North-East Italy Broadband Network (10.7914/SN/NI), North-East Italy Seismic Network (10.7914/SN/OX), and Trentino Seismic Network (10.7914/SN/ST). The 637 earthquakes have been selected from the Collalto seismic catalog related to the period 01/01/2012–31/10/2022, relocated according to the procedure described in Romano et al. (2019). They have been used for seismic attenuation tomography in the Montello area by Talone et al. (submitted). All the waveforms are collected in folders named like the event ID. SAC file name is like ‘YYYYJJJHHMMSS.00.STA.CHA(_ST).sac’, with YYYYJJJHHMMSS: start time of waveform cut (Year, Julian day, Hours, Minutes and Seconds) STA: station code CHA: channel code _ST: stream code (‘_01’ or ‘_02’) for EV stations only SAC file lenght is about 70 s (10 s before the origin time, and 60 s after). The instrument correction is not applied. SAC file header contains: station coordinates (latitude, longitude, elevation); arrival times of P-wave and S-wave (if available); hypocentral parameters (latitude, longitude, depth and local magnitude) of the earthquake.
