Replication package for "Suppressed Liquidation: How Cheap Money Leaves an Irreversible Stock in the Euro-Area Periphery"
收藏资源简介:
Replication package for the working paper "Suppressed Liquidation: How Cheap Money Leaves an Irreversible Stock in the Euro-Area Periphery" (Luis Palma Batista). It reproduces every headline number in the paper from public aggregate data (Eurostat, ECB, BIS, and the BACH harmonised firm accounts). The archive contains the paper PDF and its two figures; the model-arithmetic scripts (closed forms for the distortion's half-life and the easing-tightening asymmetry, and the welfare clearing threshold); the empirical scripts (baseline within-country asymmetry, wild-cluster bootstrap inference, quarterly and exclude-Greece robustness, the BACH sectoral maturity test, and leave-one-cluster-out influence diagnostics); and the public data they use, with a README documenting provenance, run instructions, and expected results (periphery firm death rate about 9.3%; baseline asymmetry about 1.77 with wild-cluster p = 0.03; about 3.1 excluding Greece; implied misallocation cost of order 1% of peripheral GDP a year). The quantitative results are produced by these scripts on public data; no proprietary model or data is required or included.
