The objective of the present study was the evaluation of the toxic and interactive toxic effects of heavy metal (cadmium) and organic compound (aniline) alone or in binary mixtures using soil bacteria as test organisms. The biological response of soil microorganisms extracted from Luria-Bertani medium to combined pollution was studied, including bacterial community analysis and physiological and biochemical response of microorganisms. Specifically, we aimed to elucidate the composition and diversity of soil bacteria under the combined stress of heavy metals and organic compounds and examine how bacteria are shaped by the environmental conditions.
