This repository contains data and code for the manuscript "Protected measurements for protected superconducting qubits Requirements Run the pip install -r requirements.txt to load the relevant python packages As configured, a working LaTeX installation and Ghostscript is required to render the figures in simulations.ipynb and figures.ipynb. However, this can be avoided by setting usetex=False at the beginning of the notebooks QuTiP and scqubits are only required for plotting the wavefunctions at the end of the figures.ipynb notebook Structure /src/ contains the relevant code in the files states.py contains functions for manipulating states in the position or momentum bases and a list of different fft aliases used for the split-operator method evolution.py contains the code for simulating the $X$ and $Z$ measurement protocols, including three measurement classes: X_meas, Z_meas_1D and Z_meas_2D_eff_model plotting.py contains some helper functions for plotting wavefunctions /data/ contains the data used to create all figures in the manuscript, which was obtained using an HPC /figs/ contains the figures used in the manuscript simulations.ipynb shows some example simulations using the /src/ code figures.ipynb creates the figures in the /figs/ folder using the data contained in the /data/ folder
