Dataset: Bibliometric Analysis of Seagrass–Microplastic Research, 2018–2025

This dataset supports the article "Microplastic Pollution in Seagrass Ecosystems: A Structured Evidence Synthesis and Bibliometric Mapping (2018–2025)" (Zakaria, Werorilangi & Ambo-Rappe). It contains the raw OpenAlex metadata export (N = 184; retrieved 7 August 2026), the 111 candidate articles with title/abstract screening decisions, exclusion categories and rationales, the final corpus of 78 journal articles in bibliometrix format, and the Python script used for the network and sensitivity analyses, together with its output. Selection: 184 records → 1 non-English record removed (16 records without language metadata checked manually and retained) → 183 → 68 non-article records removed → 115 → 4 records removed at manual audit → 111 candidates → 33 excluded at title/abstract screening → 78 articles included. Version 2.0 replaces version 1.0 (108 articles). Version 2.0 adds title/abstract screening, manual language verification, and the full selection record.
