Digital Archive from a Geophysics Survey at Cote Road, Aston, Oxfordshire, October 2023

This collection consists of a vector graphic, GIS and geophysics data from a geophysical survey, comprising detailed magnetometry, by Archaeological Surveys Ltd. Work occurred on land to the north of Cote Road, Aston, Oxfordshire, in October 2023.The results indicate the presence of several positive linear and discrete anomalies indicative of cut features with archaeological potential. Several anomalies indicative of probable extraction pits can also be seen close to the anomalies of archaeological potential, although it is not possible to determine if they are contemporary or related. Linear anomalies caused by former ridge and furrow cultivation were also located.
