Draft genome of Symbiodinium sp. Clade C Y103
收藏资源简介:
Marine dinoflagellate Symbiodinium are photosynthetic and are found in marine organisms and from free-living environment samples. Symbiodinium is classified into nine lineages (clades A-I) by molecular phylogentic analysis of nuclear large subunit ribosomal sequences (Pochon and Gates, 2010). We had decoded the first draft genome from Symbiodinium minutum clade B (Shoguchi et al., 2013). To perform comparative genomic analysis among Symbiodinium clades, here we sequence Symbiodinium sp. clade C, which is from an abundant group in Indo-Pacific, using illumina Hiseq 2000. This project reports the draft assembly of the clade C genome, including all the predicted protein coding genes. Comparative genomic analysis among Symbiodinium clades will reveal the diversity of the symbiotic algae at whole-genome level.
