Explaining the controversies over Crotalus durissus ruruima venom and envenomings

This project aims to understand the ontogenetic and geographical variation of venom composition of C. d. ruruima snake in Roraima State, Brazil. The data will enlighten differences in human envenomings by this snake species and may help provide a more efficient specific therapy.
