Near-Bottom Bathymetry Data (netCDF format) from the Pescadero Basin, southern Gulf of California

This high-resolution gridded bathymetry data was acquired with a Reson SeaBat 7125 Multibeam sonar system on the MBARI Mapping AUV in two surveys conducted in Pescadero Basin (Gulf of California) in 2015 during cruise RCSN234 (investigators David Caress, David Clague, Jennifer Paduan, Ronald Spelz-Madero). The data files are in netCDF GMT format and were processed using the open-source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software. The netCDF grids are 1-meter horizontal resolution and are given in the WGS-84 geographic coordinate systemm and in the UTM zone 12N coordinate system. Navigation is DVL/USBL, adjusted with MBSystem in post-processing. Funding for this work was provided by the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
