Dataset Display Service: DMV Minimum Outflow — Corrective Factor (Q) — DGR No.1268/2022

The Minimum Life Flow (DMV) is the instant flow rate, to be determined in each homogeneous section of the watercourse, in order to guarantee the ecological integrity for the protection of aquatic life, to ensure a balanced use of the water resource and to protect the balance of the water and hydrogeological balance. The Water Protection Plan identifies the methods for determining and applying the corrective factors of the DMV on the basis of the criteria identified by the District Basin Authorities. The factor (Q) expresses the dilution requirements of pollutants conveyed in watercourses according to existing human activities and is modulated in a range between 1.00 and 1.60. The Q values are determined on the basis of the periodic update of the state of the surface water bodies.最小生命流量（Minimum Life Flow，DMV）指需在河道各均质河段分别确定的瞬时流量，其设定目的为保障水生生物保护所需的生态完整性、确保水资源的均衡合理利用，并维护水体水平衡与水文地质平衡。《水保护计划》（Water Protection Plan）明确了依据流域管理机构制定的相关标准，确定并应用DMV修正系数的具体方法。修正系数（Q）用于体现根据现有人类活动确定的河道污染物稀释需求，其取值范围被调控在1.00至1.60之间。Q值的确定需以地表水体状态的周期性更新结果为依据。
