A dataset of Jilin soil species based on the Second National Soil Survey

This dataset is derived from the Jilin Soil Species. We standardized, structured and digitalized the original data of 191 soil species based on their distribution areas, morphologic characteristics, physicochemical properties and productivity. The dataset uses seven tables delineating Jilin soil species, including soil classification, soil basic traits, landscape of typical soil profile, genetic horizon of typical soil, physicochemical properties of typical soil profile, chemical properties in statistics profiles, the names of counties and cities, administrative region distribution of soil species. This dataset has been quality controlled to ensure that the content and data are correct. The dataset can be used in soil science, land science, ecology, geography and other related researches, and has an important guiding value in many industries, such as agriculture, environment, ecology, etc., and provides important reference for the Third National Soil Survey.
