Phylogenetic and population analysis of Geranium erianthum

Geranium erianthum is distributed in East Asia, eastern Siberia, Alaska and British Columbia, and is classified as North Pacific Ocean element in Japan. Because of its wide distribution range and poor seed dispersal ability via barochory, G. erianthum is a suitable case to elucidate the historical population dynamics of the Pacific Ocean elements. The aims of this project are to reveal the phylogenetic relationships and population dynamics of G. erianthum using next-generation sequencing data.
