Mr. de Celis is pictured here in bust, with his overcoat buttoned nearly up to his collar, around which a bowtie is fastened. He sports both a long moustache and a long, soulpatch beard. His hair is full and wavy, springing out on either side by his ears. His face is smooth and shows little sign of aging, making him look no more than thirty-five years old. Photoprint reads: "His father taught the S.F. Mission lands after secularization, left for Spain and his son (here) took charge".
